The 13th STUDENT COUNCIL INVESTITURE CEREMONY

Doha Modern Indian School solemnly inducted its newly elected
body of the Student Council for the session, 2017-18, marking
yet another historic event of its entity in the field of
education on 27th April, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the School
Assembly Hall. The function was attended by the Chief Guest
Captain Fahad Al Habadi, Head of Investigation, Juvenile Police
Department, Guest of Honour Mr. Faisal Al Hudawi
Community Reach Out - Office Coordinator, Public Relations
Department, MOI and Special Guests Mr. David Throp, Ms. Padmini
Venkatesh, Ms. Marwa and the parents of the new inducted members
of the students council.
The Chief Guest in his address felicitated the elected members
and encouraged them to consider their roles as a suitable scope
for life skill and self-development. After his speech, as a mark
of DMIS cooperation during Qatar National Day Celebrations, the
School Principal, Mr. Rakesh Singh Tomar was presented a memento
of appreciation by him.
The Head Boy, Master Kevin Kimi Alexander in
his turn proposed the vote of thanks extending his profound
gratitude towards the SLT and the teaching faculty of the
school. Eventually the mega event of the 13th Student Council
Investiture Ceremony was concluded with the national anthems of
Qatar and India.
