SKILL-O-PANORAMA: DMIS XII Literary and Cultural Festival

A week-long dazzling array of participation and performances by
the participants of different houses at Doha Modern Indian
School commenced on May 14 and concluded on May 18, 2017. The
programme was a composite of cultural, artistic and literary
extravaganza. Some of the most striking events covered during
XII literary and Cultural Festival – Skill–O–Panorama were
literary events which included essay writing, story writing,
poem recitation, extempore speeches, writing slogans, etc. The
cultural events included classical dance, group dance, medley,
choir, mime and the like. This program was also a platform for
other students with artistic talents to showcase their
creativity in collage making, drawing, coloring, face painting,
etc.
Approximately some 35% students representing
four houses, namely Topaz, Emerald, Ruby and Sapphire
participated in 39 various events. The entire program was
well-designed and executed to permeate a spirit of healthy
competition among students, ensuring a sense of achievement and
confidence in them. Congratulations to all the winners! The
success of the program, without doubt, was attributed to the
Principal, Assistant Principal, SLT members, Senior
Housemasters, Junior Housemasters, House Captains and others for
playing vital roles during the week of Skill-O-Panorama.
